SpaceX stands for space exploration, and it is dedicated to achieving its goal of one day being able to colonize other planets. SpaceX plans to offer broadband services this year. Achievement for SpaceX’s Starlink launch will probably average two a month, in addition to customer launches. This schedule means that SpaceX will have seven or eight chief missions this year.
On January 24th, SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket is expected to launch a third group of approximately 60 satellites for the company’s Starlink broadband network in a mission labeled Starlink 3. In March, Space Falcon 9 rocket will unveil it’s 22nd Dragon spacecraft mission when it delivers operational cargo to the international space station.
2020 is a jampacked year for SpaceX. It has a number of upcoming projects from the privately owned company. Their first launched was on January 6 with the Falcon 9. It is one of four January launches for the company. The rest of the launches were on January 11.
The main project that SpaceX is focusing on is the development of the Starlink broadband constellation. SpaceX has more than 24 Starlink projects planned for the year. They are focusing on this more than anything because they want to put enough satellites in the orbit to make it a profitable company.
