Allergy symptoms depend on the particular allergy that you are suffering from, and it could involve the nasal passages, airways, sinuses, and even digestive symptoms. There are three different degrees of allergy symptoms. Mild allergy symptoms include rash, congestion, and localized itching. Moderate allergic reactions can include symptoms that spread to other parts of the body, including difficulty breathing, and widespread itching.
Severe allergy symptoms include redness and puffiness around the eyes, watery eyes and nose, possible swelling of the mouth, having difficulty swallowing, and chest congestion. Other signs that fall into any category in varying degrees include diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, cramps, and mental confusion or dizziness. Allergies are several conditions caused by an immune system that has been put into fight or flight mode because of having to deal with these stressors.
