Many countries possess super strict laws against drug crimes and even enforce the death penalty for things that we, as Americans, deem insignificant or forgivable. In Malaysia, those who sell drugs can be sentenced to death. If you are holding any illegal or illicit drugs, you can be jailed, fined, or deported, and driving drunk is also a giant offense in Malaysia. In China, if you have drugs in your possession, you could be forced to seek counsel in a drug rehabilitation center run by the government, and you also run the risk of being executed.
