There are many symptoms of Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, also known as ASMR. One symptom is the feeling of tingling or prickling in different parts of the body. This sensation can start at the head and move down throughout the rest of the body. It is a feeling of peace because it helps relax the body before the person goes to sleep.
Sleeping is another symptom of Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. This is because the tingling and prickling sensation allows a person to become so relaxed that they eventually fall asleep or just doze off for a short period of time.
Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response(ASMR) usually comes with a tingling sensation that starts from your head to other parts of the body like the arms and legs. The positive feeling that comes as a result of ASMR brings about a kind relaxation to the body, to the point that you might start feeling dozy or sleepy.
The common symptom is the tingling sensation that you feel, which also makes you feel relaxed when you listen to certain sounds, or when you watch certain videos. This kind of feeling is not common to everyone; in fact, some people have never experienced it. Also, there are slight differences as to what causes ASMR in people. A lot of people are now watching ASMR videos on YouTube because they see it as an alternative way to tackle insomnia. The feeling you get from ASMR is not the same as the one you get when you are feeling shivery.
