Why do animals live in group?

The different animals that are available usually live in groups. By living in groups, they would be able to save each other whenever there are predators that are available. There are even some who would try to take down predators through their sheer number. Even if predators are supposed to be strong, they can be no match if there is a group of prey that is trying to fend for their lives.

They also live in groups because they would like to work together. It will be easier for them to find the right place where they can live. At the same time, they will also find the food that they need for the whole group to survive.

Most animals are social animals; this includes humans. Social interaction is very common with non-human animals as they live in social groups all through their lives. Common animals that live in groups are lions, bees, elephants, ants, wolves, chimpanzees, cows, and so on.

Animals live in social groups mostly based on closely related members to increase their chances of survival; living in groups is helpful when it comes to caring for their young ones. Living in groups also makes it difficult for a predator animal to prey on animals in groups. Some animals even join forces to take down prey bigger than them with effort. Living in groups makes it easy for them to find more food.
