First, you need to prepare the tapioca pearls. You can do this by Boiling a small pot of water, Add tapioca pearls and stir until they float to the top. Cook until it becomes tender.
This should take 12 to 15 minutes. After this, you drain the tapioca and transfer it to a container. Add sugar a small quantity of water to the tapioca pearls.
