This can include limited animal-based products such as eggs, dairy products, and fish. While a vegan diet is a diet that consists of only plant foods. It does not contain any food gotten from animals; even eggs, fish, and dairy products are not allowed. The major difference is that a plant-based diet allows you to consume a small number of animal products from time to time. If you are hoping to choose between a plant-based diet and a vegan diet, the option is left to you as both eating plans have pros and cons. This does not mean people with a plant-based eating plan will never eat animal products, but people on a vegan diet totally avoid consuming anything that has its source from animal products.
