Ostriches are generally found in only specific places. The different species of ostrich all reside in different parts of the world. The ostrich is very closely related to the New Zealand Kiwi and the Australian emu. The ostrich has also surfaced in the Middle East, although wild ostriches can be found in scorching hot, dry savannas and woodlands of Africa.
There was a period in which they could be located all over Asia, the Arabian Peninsula, and Africa. The five different species of the ostrich are often dispersed throughout Central and Eastern Africa.
