New Year's Eve celebration in Europe is something you wouldn't want to miss. No doubt,New Year's Eve is celebrated everywhere in the world, but the highest degree of celebrations is what you would see in most European countries.

If you're visiting Europe for the first time, you may find it difficult to differentiate between New Year's Eve celebration and New Year celebration. Different events are held on New Year's Eve, but the real events start in the evening.

The traffic on the road will definitely inform you that something is happening. There are nice places that are suitable for the kind of enjoyment you want; restaurants, shops, and bars will be open throughout the night. If you visit places like Italy, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, you will have the chance to eat their traditional dishes. It is a common sight to see young people celebrating the day with fireworks, different kinds of wine, music, etc.

The entire city of London, from the Thames embankment to Big Ben or the Tower Bridge, lights up on New Year's. The city is transformed into a fairytale-like world, with the sky majestically lit up by fireworks. On New Year’s Day, you can attend the annual parade, which features a procession of the Queen's horses. Lisbon is one of the most favorite spots to celebrate New Year's in Europe, and on New Year’s Eve, the people of the city eat raisins at midnight.

The eating of raisins is a part of an unusual ritual that you won't soon forget. Vienna is also a great option, with the city is full of old-world charm, class, and mystique. The Great Ball at Hofburg Palace remains one of the most favorite places to visit. The stroll through the New Year’s trail lands you in Old City.
