A lot of people do not realize that other falls are taller and larger than the Niagara Falls probably because of its size and height. It is truly majestic especially when it is viewed for the first time. The Salto Angel in Venezuela is considered to be the highest waterfall with a height of 3230 feet.

The Niagara Falls is rather large as compared to being tall yet it is still not the largest waterfall. The largest waterfall can be found in Africa and it is called Victoria Falls. This is almost twice as large as the Niagara Falls. This can be truly majestic to see especially in some months when the volume of water is bigger.

The Niagara Falls is so big that it can be found in two different countries. You can find it in New York in the United States and in Ontario, Canada. Some tourists who are not from either of these countries make it a point to secure the proper visa for both so that they can view the Niagara Falls from different angles easily.

Some who are unable to secure the visa may sometimes feel that they have missed out on something that was supposed to be easy. Niagara Falls is considered to be one of the falls that you should not miss seeing in the world. It is just so majestic, and its beauty is rarely captured in photos.

Angel Falls in Venezuela is the tallest waterfall in the world. According to the National Geographic Society, the waterfall plunges 3,212 feet (979 meters). The falls cascade over the brink of Auyran Tepui, which means Devil’s Mountain, which is a flat-topped high area of land located in Canaima National Park in Bolivar Venezuela.

Jimmy Angel was the name of the American explorer and pilot who crashed his plane on Auyan Tepui in 1937. The falls are called Angel Falls for this reason. The waterfall runs into the Charan River, which overflows the edge of the mountain. The height of the fall is so impressive that the stream of water transforms into a cloud of mist, then trickles back together through a flowing run.

It may seem like the Niagara Falls are the most significant falls in the world, but actually, this is only second to Victoria Falls. Victoria Falls is located in South Africa. When it comes to the highest, Niagara is still not the highest one. The highest falls are located in Venezuela, and it is called Angel Falls. Even if this falls did not get the top spot in both categories, a lot of people still find it very majestic because this is tall and huge at the same time.

The combination has made it a geographical wonder. It is rare that you will see anything that resembles Niagara Falls. A lot of people dream of seeing this at least once in their lifetime. If they do see it, they wish that they could view it from both sides.
