Japanese are known to be hardworking people. In fact, some people from different parts of the world sometimes question why they are so hardworking. Being hardworking is already a part of their culture and traditions. It does not matter what type of job you have as long as you would be able to do it properly.
Those who work in the office are expected to spend a lot of hours working so that they can accomplish so much in a day. Those who work in restaurants are also expected to do their best at all times. It does not matter what the professions of the Japanese people are; they will always do their best to accomplish what they want.

A portion of it has to do with the diverse expectations of Japanese families concerning working hours. It has to do with the expectations of Japanese corporations, in which long working hours is the highest sign of devotion and effort, which might be looked down upon in our country due to our expectations of family.
In North America, there is an expectancy that the Japanese will remain in the office late in order to contact headquarters in Japan by phone. The late hours in the United States is because evening here is the beginning of the business day in Japan. Japanese who are not available during these times will be frowned upon by their colleagues in Japan, which will have a negative effect on their career.

Yes, the Japanese are a hardworking group of people. Japanese are known to have very strong work ethics, and this drives them daily to keep working hard. Japanese employees work very hard for compensation. Most employers pay their workers overtime. The longer you log in, the more you get paid.
According to research done in 2016, over 20% of Japaneseemployees work at least 80 hours of overtime in a month. Loyalty is another big factor that contributes to the hard work of Japanese workers; many people work overtime as a sign of loyalty to a company. In fact, joining a company after college and retiring from the same company is a common phenomenon in Japan.
The Japanese are known to be very hard-working people. This is already a part of their culture. They are accustomed to spending long hours. Aside from spending long hours, they do hard tasks that can truly make them feel drained. Yet, they know that they have to keep on going because it is not in their motto to give up until they feel that there is truly no hope for them.
Those who would like to live and work in Japan should also be accustomed to their lifestyle. They usually have a group mentality. They know that they have to work in groups, but they would refer to the decision of the leader when making big decisions.
