Natural disasters are dangerous, and there are varied kinds of them, and they all have multiple ramifications. Floods, for example, are when a stretch of water overflows, and it overwhelms the land and destroys everything that gets in its way. The Yangtze River floods were the worst ever recorded. Another kind of natural disaster is a tornado, which is a violent spinning funnel-shaped cloud that usually results from thunderstorms to the ground, and they possess high wind speed.
The Tri-state tornado that hit Illinois, Missouri, and Indiana in 1925 was the deadliest of all time. Tsunamis are generally caused by powerful earthquakes, underwater explosions, landslides, or volcanic eruptions under the ocean floor. The 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami was the worst one ever.
Also, hurricanes, tropical storms, typhoons, and cyclones illustrate the same kind of disaster. Tropical cyclones are generally typified by a low- pressure center and strong wind spirals. The Bhola cyclone, which hit Bangladesh in 1970, was the most destructive.
