There are a lot of people who are wondering if other species know if other species are dead. They usually know that this is an instinct. When they see that there is a dead spider, they know that something or someone must have killed it. They would then avoid not only the dead body of the spider but also the area of the spider to make sure that they would not get killed.
This does not happen very often, though, because spiders are known to be solitary creatures. They have the ability to stay on their own and live on their own. They do not rely on other spiders in order to get their food. They also like hunting alone.

A lot of experts say that spiders are misunderstood creatures, especially some of the harmless ones that we can usually find at home. Most people will squish spiders out of fear, but will other spiders become attracted or avoid other dead spiders? There are some reports stating that animals and even other living things of the same species will avoid the dead bodies of the same species, so it will not be surprising if spiders would avoid the bodies of other dead spiders.
There are instances though when spiders would eat other spiders. For example, it is common for some types of female spiders to eat the male spiders that they have mated with. This way, there are no dead spider bodies to deal with.
