There are a lot of people who are more scared of spiders than insects and bugs. Spiders are arachnids, and they are in a completely different league from the usual insects that you may see. Most people do not realize that spiders also need air to breathe. They will not be able to survive without air.
Spiders normally use webs so that they can catch their prey. Spiders do not have antennae, unlike insects. This is actually one of the things that you can look at when you want to see if the creepy crawlies that you are looking at are insects or arachnids. Spiders can also be found in various parts of the world except in Antarctica.

A lot of people assume that spiders are insects, but they are not. They are actually arachnids, so you cannot call them “a bug.” One of the things that will let you know that a spider is different from a typical bug is the number of legs that spiders have. They have eight legs, while the typical insect only has six.
Another thing that you may notice when you want to look closely at a picture of a spider, assuming that you do not want to look at the real thing, is that they do not have antennae while spiders do not have antennae. Another fun fact is they can be found in almost all continents, but they cannot be found in Antarctica.
