President's Day is a day to celebrate all of the men who have held the title of President of the United States. It originally started as a day to celebrate and honor the first President of the United States, George Washington. As time went on, it became a day to celebrate all of the presidents.
This day is one of many federal holidays that is recognized in the United States. With it being a federal holiday, the government recognizes it every year, and the day of recognition is the third Monday in February. On this day, schools are closed as well as banks and other businesses.

President’s Day is also known as Washington’s birthday. This is one of the federal holidays of the United States, which means that the government recognizes this event and implements it. This happens every third Monday in February of every year. There are a lot of banks and schools that are closed during this day.
It gives people the chance to commemorate the president and at the same time, find some time to relax from their usual busy schedules. Those who would need to do certain transactions, especially with the bank, are recommended to do them before or after this day just to be sure that they will be able to finish what they need to do.
