Yes, Thanksgiving is a federal holiday, and it is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November every year. For this year, Thanksgiving will be celebrated on the 28th of November, 2019. Thanksgiving celebration does not have a fixed date, and that's why the date for this year will be totally different from that of next year. However, the constant thing is that it is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November every year.

Thanksgiving has been a federal holiday since 1941, although it actually didn't start as a federal holiday because the story behind Thanksgiving celebration is a religious one. Thanksgiving is an important event in the United States because it is also one of the ten federal holidays in the United States. That's why you will not see people going to work on Thanksgiving Day, and they will still get paid for that day, although, in the private sector, some employees celebrate this holiday at their various places of work.

Yes, Thanksgiving Day is a federal holiday in the United States. It is one of the ten federal holidays in the nation.

Thanksgiving is celebrated on the 4th Thursday in November. Thanksgiving became a federal holiday in 1789 when George Washington declared it after a request by the Congress.

Before 1789, Thanksgiving Day was not recognized as a public holiday and was more of a religious celebration than a secular celebration. Thanksgiving is a day set aside to celebrate the harvest of the previous year.

All government offices, schools, banks are closed. Several private-sector employers also give this day off to their employees, and they will receive pay even though the day is off.

Yes, Thanksgiving is considered to be one of the federal holidays in the United States. This is one of the holidays wherein people are expected not to have work. They can just focus on celebrating with their loved ones.

There are some people who would love to have a longer holiday during this season because this is their only time to enjoy and not think about any work. If in case you are not too aware of what a federal holiday means, this is a type of holiday that has been set and is recognized by the government of the United States.

Most people do not work during this day although there are some stores that will be open, and the employees would be paid double for their efforts.
