The iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max have the necessary hardware to support reverse wireless charging. However, the company disabled it before launching the devices. Reliable sources have stated that the iPhone 11 does have the tools for bilateral wire-free charging; however, the feature is said to be "software disabled."
It was assumed that the bilateral wireless charging feature was removed because the charging efficiency may not meet Apple's expectations. The decision was not to include reverse wireless charging on the new iPhones.
