The correct answer to this question will vary depending on who it is being asked to. Salman Khan has hosted almost all of the seasons of Bigg Boss. This season, Season 13, will mark his tenth season of hosting the Indian reality show.
Some people like his celebrity stature, while others do feel his biased. On October 16, 2019, Times of India conducted a poll on this very topic. Out of all the users polled, 72% of them felt that he was biased. Some viewers based that on his admiration of the female contestants that are prettier than others.

Salman Khan is known to be the boss of Bigg Boss for most of its seasons, but there are some viewers who believe that he is a very biased host. Some say that he is not very fair in questioning some of the contestants. It is also obvious whenever he supports one contestant over the other based on his comments.
People are saying that it is okay if you are biased, but as a host, you should be professional. If there are some things that you do not like about the contestants, you should not voice it out. Salman Khan is only human, after all, and no one can deny his hosting skills. People just wish that he can become fairer towards the contestants.

In the recent Big Boss 13, weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman favored Shehmaz Gill over Koena Mitra. He pulled up Koena for saying that Shehnaz was a servant and a poser. He instead commended Shehnaz for her game, and he felt that she was worth watching, and he was rooting for her. This situation caused controversy with the viewers.
They all flocked to social media after the show to express their disdain with the host of the controversial reality show. They felt Shehnaz was bothersome, and Koena was more dignified. Many felt that Shehnaz’s act of copying Koena was immoral and discourteous. However, Salman chose to defend Shehnez. Koena felt her side of the story wasn’t heard, and that the host was biased.

Many people are of the opinion that Big Boss host, Salman Khan, is biased. Salman Khan is a popular Bollywood actor. He has hosted most of the seasons of Bigg Boss. Many online polls have also confirmed this claim. People believe that Salman Khan is partial to one or two contestants on the TV show every season.
He has expressed biased towards many contestants such as Tanisha Mukherji, Elli Avaram, Gautam Gulati, Shehnaz, and a host of others. What many expect from the host is that he should remain unbiased since he is in the public domain. Salman is not expected to express his personal preferred for any contestants to the knowledge of the public.
