Why didn't Bigg Boss season 12 top the chart?

Out of all of the seasons of Bigg Boss, many viewers considered Season 12 the worst of all. There are many reasons why it is not as highly rated of a season as others. A lot of blame was put on contestants Dipika Kakar.

Though the actress ended up winning the show, many saw her performance as lackluster and not deserving of the win. Many viewers felt that Somi Khan should have won because she was a better cook than Kakar.

Along with that, this season included a mixture of celebrities and common folk on the cast, in a genre where many prefer celebrities on their reality shows.

There are quite a few key reasons that Bigg Boss season 12 slid down the TRP chart, as well as lose the loyal audience: This was said to be the most boring season ever thanks to Dipika Kakar.

Also, Deepak Thakur joined the house and changed his personality from a being bad boy to be very innocent and even gullible, which was not a welcome switch, according to the viewers. Sreesanth's fights with Vikas Gupta often came across as being totally scripted. There was no real investment either way.

This does not also make it be highly rated, unlike the Bigg Boss 13, which is filled with just celebrities. Though there were numbers of competition, still Bigg Boss 12 was also dull.

Viewers and critics alike have complained that season 12 of Bigg Boss was the most boring season ever. Dipika Kakar, who is a celebrity contestant on the show, was blamed for contributing to the lackluster season. Kakar hasn’t developed any other strong bond inside the house besides with Sreesanth.

Also, over the last few seasons, Shilpa and Hina Khan generated a storm by forging the biggest rivalry in the house. Their intense disdain for each other was entertaining for the audiences. Season 12 basically failed to create any controversy.
