MEng is considered to be masters of Engineering degree. This means that a person who has graduated with this will come with a degree in Engineering that can be used to apply to various related jobs and positions. MSc means Masters of Science degree.

This is considered to be more broad as compared to the MEng because there are so many different courses that may be related to the MSc. These two can also be earned from different establishments. The MEng can be earned from technical colleges while the MSc can be acquired when people go to traditional colleges and universities. Both of these degrees are needed for different fields.

M.Sc and MEng are both postgraduate courses with some differences between them. M.Sc is a Master of science, while MEng is a Master of engineering. With an M.Sc, you need to have a bachelor's degree in science in disciplines such as chemistry, physics, geology, or plant biology. You can apply for M.Sc in any of the former disciplines. Students that have passed M.Sc often become very knowledgeable and well -trained in any branch of science. They almost become specialists in the subjects they are taught.

Those who have completed have a wide range of occupations at their disposal. They may work as anything from scientists to researcher assistant educators. Students who pass MEng would demonstrate knowledge about applications of a specific brand of science. Engineering encompasses the implementation of a particular brand of science.
