How do people celebrate Columbus Day?

There are different ways that people may celebrate Columbus Day. For example, there are some people who would attend their own church and pray for the circumstances that led to the discovery of America. There are some who may participate in programs that are related to Columbus Day.

There are also some towns and cities that have created their own parades wherein people can participate and remember the day that Christopher Columbus discovered America. While it may be a large event for some states in America, it should be noted that this is not a big event in some states. There are also some states that do not celebrate this holiday at all.

Columbus Day is celebrated with the implementation of several events. Religious activities, such as special church services are being held in commemoration of the Columbus Day. A medium whereby people go to church in the United States and worship their God for the day, praying for the nation and themselves also. One of the most common events that takes place, especially nationally, is the parade. The military and probably the civilians are engaged in parade just to mark the day.

This is done in some cities and states. Associations or districts can be represented as they form different groups for parade, and actually, this is best done by the forces. Large events are also usually held in order to commemorate this day. During this events, some activities can be carried out, such as singing and dancing, feasting, cultural displays and many more. Some also use it as a medium to catch fun and do sports and games just to mark the day.
