Rip Taylor was born in Washington DC, NJ, on January 13, 1931. He was a comedian film actor. His father was Charles Elmer Taylor Sr, and his mother was a waitress named Elizabeth Taylor. He had a very traumatic childhood. He was bullied in school and molested while in foster care. Although he had a rough childhood, he had a dream in his heart to entertain others.
Rip Taylor was known as "The King of Confetti" because he would shower himself and the audience with colored confetti. He was influenced by legendary comedians like Charlie Chaplin, Red Foxx, Mickey Rooney, and Groucho Marx, and in turn, he influenced famous comedians like Carrot Top and Dana Snyder.
