There was a time when MySpace was extremely popular. People made sure that they would have an account there so that they can share different things about them. At the same time, it has allowed meeting new people.

The funny thing is MySpace was not intended to become a social networking site. It was supposed to be a storage site wherein people can save their data. Bebo is another social networking site that has seemed to have gotten the audience of MySpace.

Those who used to have accounts in MySpace started to transfer to Bebo. It also does not help that there are other social networking sites that are available right now. Both social media websites are not considered to be the top tier social networking sites right now.

Bebo and MySpace are two different social media platforms. Bebo was launched in January 2005 (over 14 years ago). It was founded by Michael Birch and Xochi Birch. Bebo is more popular in the United Kingdom and other European countries. MySpace was founded on the 1st of August 2003 (16 years ago). MySpace was launched two years earlier than Bebo. It was founded by Chris Dewolfe, Tom Anderson and Jon Hart. MySpace is more popular in the United States.

My Space is available in 15 languages. MySpace was initially created to be online data storage and not a social networking platform. In 2006, MySpace reached its peak of success as it was the most popular and successful networking website at the time. Over time Facebook came in and became a huge completion for MySpace and Bebo, over time, there has been a steady decline in usage.
