According to some reports, there are 1 in 59 children who may become diagnosed with autism every year. Boys are more likely to be diagnosed with autism as compared to girls. There are some children who grow up to be teenagers who end up not being diagnosed. Those who usually become diagnosed with autism are those who are from 4 years old to 8 years old.
Some can become diagnosed as early as two years old. One of the greatest misconceptions of people is that it would only affect certain socioeconomic groups. This is not true. There are just more people who are diagnosed in some socioeconomic groups because they have the means to get their children checked and properly diagnosed.
