It may seem easy because reading comic books can be done faster than reading books, but creating comic books follows a tedious process. The illustrations would need to be done one by one, and there is a need for the drawings to be cohesive; otherwise, people will not appreciate the change. The quality of the drawings should remain constant throughout the whole comic book.
Usually, the main illustrations will be placed on paper with the use of various coloring materials before they will be scanned on the computer. Once scanned, there will be some tweaks that will be made. The authors should also draft the plot so that they will know the illustrations that need to be created. Once the story is made, they will be separated into different squares wherein the illustrations will be placed.
Creating a comic book is not as easy as it would seem. It would require to have a great idea and plot. The graphics illustration would also need to create thumbnail sketches. There will be original drawings that need to be in a series so that they can be understood by the reader. There used to be a time when everything was drawn by hand. Right now, people can create comics digitally.
They would use different tools to make comics easier to draw and edit. Some people still prefer to draw the comics that they create by hand. After the original graphics are made, colors are going to be added to the graphics. The lettering would also be placed to make them more appealing to their target audience. Once a comic book is done, it will be checked before getting published.
