How many types of comics are there?

There are actually many types of comic books that are available depending on the genre. Superhero is probably the most common and most popular type of comic book but aside from that, people also appreciate horror, action/adventure, humor, romance, adult, and children’s comic books.

Adult comic books are usually more intended for the mature audience as the scenes that may be depicted on the comic books are not suitable for young people. Some people read different types of comic books first before they decide which genre they like the best. I personally like horror comic books because I am interested in things that cannot be explained.

There are different types of comic books that are available right now, and people may choose comic books depending on the genre that they like the most. For example, there are some who like manga, and these are usually comic books that are made by the Japanese. Some would rather read comedy comic books because they would like to laugh out loud while they are reading.

Some would rather read dramatic comic books because they love the fact that they can sometimes relate to the stories that they will read. A lot of people also prefer reading superhero comic books because they love the idea of superheroes living among us. They can be like us and save the world from destruction.
