Navratri is known to be the nine sacred days that will be celebrated by Hindus in India and some parts of the world. This is considered to be one of the festivals that people celebrate with a lot of passion because they believe that this commemorates the differences in seasons that usually occur every year. The nine days signify the nine forms of the goddess Durga and each form is celebrated every day.
These nine forms are the following: Shailaputri, Bramacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyayini, Kaalratri, Mahagauri, and Siddhidhatri. Take note that each form had a significant role in the whole process that the goddess went through to make good triumph over evil.
