Relatively all the Black Mirror series can be watched on Netflix. When it was time for press screening for "White Christmas," Jones and Brooker met with the executives of Channel 4, who told them that they would have wished to continue with the series, but it might not be possible anymore due to budget constraints.
They said they could only thrive on co-production. In December 2014, the series was shown in the United States by Netflix, which actually gained more views than before. In the long run, Netflix took up the series for the show, and there has been no report of giving up to date. Since they requested no co-production like Channel 4, they had to take up the series, through Jones and Brooker wished to also work with Channel 4, but they could not meet up with the circumstance on the ground. Netflix commissioned 12 episodes of the Black Mirror in September 2015 and finally outbid Channel 4 by March 2016 for the rights to distribute the third series in the United Kingdom.
