Even from the meaning of superstition, we can outrightly state the position of science on superstitions. Superstition simply means a kind of belief in the supernatural that does not agree with the laws of nature, and it can not be scientifically proven either. This shows that science can't believe something can not be explained via any scientific methods. However, superstitions are mostly studied by scientists to unravel the truth or logic behind them.

This is probably why there are courses like the science of superstitions and others, to look into the veracity and the natural possibilities behind them. And once the truth is unraveled on any superstition, that marks the end to any supernatural explanation, people might have been given to it. Invariably, science does not believe in superstitions. Science can only believe in something that can be proven in practical terms or something that agrees with any natural law
