Can you tell me some of the common superstitions?

We have become so much used to a lot of superstitions that we have started living by most of them. A lot of people will deny being superstitious even when they just obeyed one.

There are so many superstitions we probably have heard about. Let's look at some of them. - There are days like Saturday, Tuesday and Friday that people are forbidden from cutting their nails, hairs after the sunset. - If you are repeatedly coughing while, it shows you are about to have a visitor. - If a woman is in her period, she shouldn't bother to cook, she must not touch anybody. In fact, she must be kept separately in a room. - Sweet at night is an invitation to imminent bad luck. - Left hand is evil, you don't give or receive things like money, food with it. - If a black cat crosses your path, then it is a sign of bad luck.
