Superstition refers to a belief, that is not based on scientific knowledge or findings, it does not conform with the laws of nature either, but it is believed that it could influence one's life in the future in some mystical or magical ways. This kind of belief is so strong that it becomes why a person starts to behave, act in some ways that negate common sense. For example, some people are so superstitious that they believe that eating in dreams comes with supernatural effects.

Someone might even tell you not to allow a black cat to cross your path; they believe it is a sign of bad luck. There are so many examples of superstitions. Superstition can be in diverse ways. Some superstitions are based on magical beliefs; some are based on divination, some are even attached to spirits and ghosts. There's also a belief that some days of the week are filled with evil occurrences.
