When did One Direction start?

One Direction started in the year 2010. One direction is a boy music band that comprises of four guys named Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Harry Styles. They are from England and Ireland. They were originally five in numbers before Zayn Malik pulled out. Their mentor, Simon Cowell, was the one that gathered them in the year 2010. He thought it well to put them together so as to enable continuity. They went for the 7th series of The X Factor competition together, and they got the third position.

The group was signed to Syco Music, after which they released one of their most famous singles; ‘What Makes You Beautiful”. The group also recorded their first album soon after they were signed to the Syco Music. Part of the popular tracks in their first album includes ‘Gotta Be You’ and ‘One Thing.’ They have toured through Asia, Europe, Australia, South America, and North America continent.
