A lot of people will be surprised to know that a constant passive smoker stands more chances of getting any of the smoking-related problems. This is because when smoke from tobacco like cigarette mixes with air, it contains more harmful substances than the one you inhale as an active smoker. People get affected by passive smoking because smoke from tobacco contains a lot of chemical compounds, and most of them are harmful to health when inhaled. Nicotine, for example, is an example of one of the dangerous substances in smoke.

Nicotine and other harmful substances stay a bit longer in the air; they can stay for a few hours. This shows that a passive smoker can inhale the smoke for hours. Passive smoking can cause clotting of blood, and it can also cause irregular heartbeat. This is quite dangerous as it might result in other heart-related problems like a heart attack. Also, passive smoking increases one's risk of getting cancer of the lung.
