Are biography and autobiography the same thing?

A biography is known to be created by a person who has studied a lot of things about another person. For example, a writer may want to write about the life of a singer that has already passed on. The book will be considered to be a biography.

It will take a lot of research before a person is able to come up with a good biography. An autobiography is a book that talks about the author’s own life. There are instances when it may require the help of another person, but it will be done with the help and support of the person who is being talked about in the book.
