You can go to the bookstore and see so many biographies that are available but before that, you should know the different types of biography which are: biography, autobiography, and memoir. These three types of biographies have certain differences that can set them apart from each other. The autobiography tells the story of the person’s own life. Most autobiographies have authors that talk about themselves and the things that they have experienced. Biographies are separated into different categories such as the following: historical biography, literary biography, and popular biography to name a few.

A memoir is usually a narration of certain situations that the author experienced in his/her lifetime. One example of abiography is Arthur Miller: Attention Must be Paid written by James Campbell. Another example is Why This World: A Biography of Clarice Lispector created by Benjamin Moser.
