Article 35A is supposed to allow J&K’s state legislature to decide on the people who can be considered as permanent residences of the state and to make sure that there are different rights and privileges that will become available to the residents. Article 35A is supposed to allow J&K’s state legislature to decide on the people who can
This also states that those who can only become employed by the different companies and establishments that are in J&K are permanent residents. The jobs that are available will not become available to those who live outside the state or those who are not considered as permanent residents. Settlement in the state is obviously only available to those who are from J&K too.
