Article 370 is a part of the Indian constitution. It gave special privileges and rights to the state of Kashmir. The article was set forth because it was the reason why the countries of China, Pakistan, and India were fighting.
The people in that area were able to choose India or Pakistan. Along with that, they were given special privileges, such as the ability to create their own separate constitution. They were also able to have an exclusive job and property market, meaning that people outside of the state were not able to buy their properties or apply to their jobs.

Article 370 in the constitution of India states that it will give special status to Jammu and Kashmir. This is a state that can be found in India that is located in Kashmir, which is an area that normally causes conflict to Pakistan, India, and China. This gives rights to people who are living in the area whether they would like to choose India or Pakistan. Those who live in the state will also be given special privileges.
They are the only ones who will be allowed to purchase properties from the state. They will also be the only ones who will be employed by the different establishments that are available there. They will also have the right to getting a proper education.
