When your Google account is hacked, there is a possibility that you will not be able to sign into it. If you can sign in, you should change your password. Use two-factor authentication, which is a verification where you sign in, and a code is sent to your phone.
You then enter the code and are verified that it's you. Your accounts that are synced will require a password change also. Some people use a dashboard program that synchronizes all your social network accounts. It is more condensed and practical.

It will depend on whether the person who has hacked your Google account has already severed the ties of your account to your other social media accounts.
Most of the time, you will still be able to open your account with the use of your old Gmail account but make sure that you already have a new email account handy so that when you get to open your social media account with your old account, you can make some changes to the settings to prevent the hacker from getting into the social media accounts that you have connected to your email. The key here is you need to be fast when you do the process.
