One of the most appreciated things about the latest operating system (Android 10) for phones is that it comes with a feature known as Dark mode. This makes your screen go black and make the text on it to become white. With this, you don't have to bother or worry about the rate at which you are exposing your eyes to the light coming from the screen.
Another good thing is that the dark mode will help reduce your phone battery consumption. Enabling this feature requires just a few steps. If your phone is using the latest operating system (Android 10), then all you need to do to enable is to go to the Settings and scroll down to the Display option. When you tap on the Display option, you'll see dark mode, then click on it. This will automatically put the phone in dark mode. By default, every application that supports this will respond to this command.
Over the past few years, more and more apps have added support for dark mode, which enables those apps to switch their backgrounds to black color. From your home screen, go to settings and when you arrive there, go to the display menu.
Inside, you will find the option to turn on the Dark Theme, and turning this on makes the entire UI of your smartphone in a darker shade. You may also generate a shortcut on the quick settings menu within the notifications panel of your android device, although you need to have installed Android 10 for this to work.
