Chandrayaan-2 is the second lunar exploration mission created by the Indian Space Research Organization. It consists of a lunar orbiter, the Vikram lander, and the Pragyan lunar rover, which were developed in India. The main scientific objective is to plot the location and abundance of lunar water via Pragyan, and ongoing study from the orbiter circling a lunar polar orbit.

Chandrayaan-2 is the second lunar exploration mission created by the Indian Space Research
It is an Indian lunar mission to explore the unexplored south pole of the celestial body by landing a rover. The satellite began its voyage toward the moon, leaving the earth's orbit on August 14th. A critical maneuver called Trans Lunar Insertion, which was carried out by ISRO placed the spacecraft on "Lunar Transfer Trajectory." The spacecraft successfully entered lunar orbit on August 20th by performing Lunar Orbit Insertion Maneuver. September 7th was the scheduled date for the soft landing on the moon and Chandrayaan-2 is expected to orbit the moon for one year.
