Explain how the change will benefit them.

A Explain how the change will benefit them. A change leader is a person who has the ability to guide others and persuade them to alter their opinions or actions. Because some individuals have a difficult time accepting and making changes, change leaders must be able to explain how a change will actually benefit them. By doing so, the change leader has a better chance of persuading others that a new idea, process, or action will improve a situation. Telling others that there is a better way of doing things (even if it is true) might put them on the defensive and make them more resistant to change. Giving others as little information as possible may make you appear like you are being dishonest, which may hinder your ability to persuade others because they wont trust you. In many situations, facts and statistics arent necessary or relevant to the proposed change. SOURCE: EI:005 SOURCE: QS LAP 2320/20 Foresight
