TFT stands for Thin Film Transistor while QVGA is known to be Quarter VGA. These are the two terms that are commonly used to describe the screens of different mobile phones and the different small devices that are available.
TFT means that there is a thin level of silicone that is placed over the glass substrate while QVGA means that the resolution of the screen is equal to 320 x 240. These two are different from each other because TFT shows how the LCD is usually created while the QVGA refers to the type of applications that can run on the type of resolution that the screen has.
