There are some cases wherein congestive heart failure is mistaken for pneumonia. One of the most common symptoms of the two is coughing. Pneumonia is known to be an infection of the lung tissue. This can be caused by some bacteria and viruses that may plague the lungs. Congestive heart failure is the failure of the heart to pump blood to various parts of the body.
One main difference between the two is that pneumonia is curable, while congestive heart failure can only be managed with the right medications, but people who have this will usually need to have this condition for life. People should be aware of the different symptoms so that they will know what treatments they should take.

Pneumonia and congestive heart failure are not the same. In fact, the only thing they have in common is that in both conditions there is congestion of fluids in the lungs which causes shortness of breath. Pneumonia is an acute or chronic inflammation of the lungs. It is mostly caused by bacteria, viruses, other microorganisms, physical and chemical irritants. Pneumonia can affect one or both lungs. A person with pneumonia is likely to present with fever, chills, cough with phlegm and shortness of breath.
Congestive heart failure is a chronic and progressive condition that affects the ability of the heart muscles to pump blood. This causes the build-up of fluids around and heart and a backlog of fluids in the lungs as well. The symptoms of congestive heart failure include: swelling of some parts of the body especially the feet and legs, shortness of breath, irregular heartbeat, fatigue and so on.
A lot of people have mistaken pneumonia for congestive heart failure. It is vital that you know the difference between the two so you can determine what condition the person is experiencing. Pneumonia is known to be the infection of the lung tissue. Those who have this may experience some chills and productive cough. People with pneumonia may typically gasp or pant easily.
Congestive heart failure is also another serious condition but it affects the heart. The heart may not pump as much as it should so it will make the different parts of the body to lose blood and oxygen which may cause the whole body to shut down. There is a need to treat these two different conditions immediately to get a positive outcome.
The main difference between haploid and diploid cells is the number of cells that can be found in the nucleus of both cells. Cells that come with two sets are called diploid, while cells that come with one set will be called haploid. In human beings that are mostly made out of diploid cells, there is still a presence of haploid cells.
The haploid cells are used for reproduction, while the rest are just made of diploid cells. The way that they are reproduced is also different from each other. Haploid cells will make use of meiosis while diploid cells will need to go through mitosis.
