A general term used for sled dogs is husky. So, it might look similar, but it is a different animal from the wolf. In the olden days, people usually use huskies as sled dogs, especially in the northern areas, but they are even used as a pet nowadays. It is originally referred to as "Eskie," but its dubious manner made it be called husky. The famous breeds of huskies are the Alaskan and Siberian husky breed. Conversely, the wolf is the largest animal of the canine family.
This genus escaped the Ice Age, and their existence can be traced back to about three hundred thousand years ago. Scientists claim that wolves and dogs have similar ancestry. In its ecological system, the wolf is the prime predator, but this is not applicable to the husky. Huskies cannot survive hot temperatures; they only have thick furs on them that protect them against cold. The wolves, on the other hand, can survive several climatic conditions, ranging from temperate zones to tundra, grasslands, mountains, and taiga.
