There are different things that people do During Raksha Bandhan but people always remember the different things that they can do. Over the years, there are some environmental concerns that are raised regarding the different festivities that are done in India. Harsh Vardhan has said that the rakhi can be tied to trees so that trees can also be blessed.

This has occurred in New Delhi. Rakha Bandhan is usually celebrated by tying a piece of string on the wrist of a brother but if the trees would also be considered as brothers, they can become better protected.
