Rural, suburban, and urban are three terms that are explained basically by the amount of population that resides in a particular geographical area. The rural areas are places that are opened and spread out across the country. The people in this kind of location mostly depend on agricultural produce to survive. The occupations of people that dwell in this kind of region are usually farming, hunting, shepherds, and the likes. They travel to the urban area to meet some other needs of theirs, such as medical, schooling, and different technical requirements. Urban areas are large regions with many populations of about one thousand people per block.
These regions are meant for living and working, and almost all needs can be met in an urban area. An urban area is typically a civilized part of the country. A suburban region is seemingly in between the rural and urban. The population is more than that of the rural areas but less than the urban region's population. Medical services and schooling can still be accessed in suburban areas.
There are three different types of populated areas that we commonly describe as being where we live. Rural areas are known as open and spread out in the country where there are fewer people, and the pace is generally slower. The people who occupy these areas work in self-sustained employment such as coal, copper, and oil, or they may work off the land. Suburban areas are areas where there are residences, and the Suburbs have a more impressive population. However, these are not cities with significant populations.
Urban areas boast high populations and refer to areas which are designated for both living and working purposes. Also, there is more hustle and bustle in these areas. These areas have more available resources, while rural and suburban areas have to use transportation to get these.
Rural areas are known to be areas that are not too populated. Those who are living in rural areas are usually living in the country. They are far from the city and there is a big possibility that there are vast fields around them. Those who are in the suburban areas are those who are living in between rural and urban areas.
Suburban areas are known to have larger populations and there are also more establishments that are available. Yet, suburban areas are still not as populated as urban areas. Suburban is often used to describe the way of living of those who are living on the edge of big cities.
