Pistols and Rifles are two common types of guns. Pistols can also be classified as handguns because they are small and can be easily held with one hand. Rifles, on the other hand, can also be classified as long guns, you can't control them with a hand, most times you need to hold them properly even with both hands so that you can aim properly. You can't carry them around due to their long size. The technology behind pistols is a bit higher than that of riffles.

For pistols, you just need a little pressure to force the bullet out of the gun, whereas more pressure is needed by riffles before a bullet can be fired. When you use a pistol, you can fire as many bullets as you want to depend on the number of bullets you have inside the gun, but it is not always easy for riffle users. You need to exact more pressure before a bullet can come out. Pistols, unlike riffles, can be seen very easily, this is because people can carry them around for self-defense.

Pistols and rifles are firearms which belong to two different categories of handguns and long guns. They are both weapons which hit the desired target with bullets. A rifle and a pistol are very different weapons. A rifle is a long gun, which needs to be held at the shoulder. It is because of rifling done inside the barrel, the bullet spins at high speed, and it ejects out of the weapon very forcefully.

The speed of a bullet coming from a rifle is double that of a bullet that comes from a pistol. A pistol is a handgun. It is much smaller and lighter, and it is easy to carry around. The pistol cannot fire a shot with precision over long distances.

Different guns are available right now. Those who do not know a lot of details about guns may become confused with their differences. Two of the most used guns are pistols and rifles. Pistols are normally used for personal use. This is a hand-held gun that usually comes in small sizes.

Some are small enough to be placed inside a very small bag. Some will fit perfectly well inside a cabinet or drawer. The rifle is a bigger gun. It comes with a long barrel and its walls are also thicker which means that it can withstand stronger pressure as compared to pistols. This is usually the type of gun that people use when they have to do some long-range shots.
