Elbow and Knee are two important joints in the body. Elbow is the joint between the upper arm and the forearm. It is located in the upper part of the human body. Knee, on the other hand, is the joint or the region of the whole joint in the midd le part of the leg between the shank and the thigh. These types of joints are very important because they allow our bodies to make a movement. If not because of the elbow, it will be practically impossible for us to take some things to other parts of our body.
Eating becomes very easy because the joint permits the forearm to move close to the mouth. If not because of the flexibility of the arm created by the elbow, it means we will need to depend on other people before we can touch our heads. The Knee contains more bones compared with an elbow. The Knee helps in supporting our weight so that we can perform activities such as running, dancing, etc.
The elbow is the joint between the upper and lower parts of the arm. The knee joins the thigh bone, or Tibia and the shin bone, or the Fibula. The most developed kind of joints are the synovial joints. Hyaline cartilage possesses slippery surfaces for free agility.
The articular surfaces are linked and filled with synovial fluid. This cavity might be partly or divided up by a meniscus known as the articular disk. The joints are enclosed by an articular container which is tough, and the synovial membrane wrinkles it. These parts of the body are known as significant joints.
Elbows and knees work as hinged joints in a human’s body. Without them, we cannot bend our arms and knees and we would look like walking sticks when we make movements. Elbows are the joints connecting the arms and the forearms. Knees, on the other hand, connect the thigh with the legs. Knees are located in front of a human’s body while elbows are located in the back part.
The locations of the knees are placed so humans can walk, move or run forward without tumbling down. The elbows allow us to hold, grip, and carry light to heavy objects over our head or carrying bags against our torso or with our hands. Knees allow us to move from one place to another (by walking or running) while elbows allow us to carry things.
