GXP and BB30 are two types of technologies that are mostly used in biking. GXP means Giga X Pipe, while BB30 means Bottom Brackets, and the '30' part refers to the size of the bottom brackets. Both GXP and BB30 can be used to make designs for different parts of a bicycle like a crankset, bottom bracket shell, and bike frame. The major difference between the two is that the various components of GXP cannot be used for BB30.

Both technologies are used by bike manufacturers to build their bikes, and both technologies can easily be used by people to make bikes using their own methods. Using both GXP and BB30 for bike making produces a bike with less weight. And because of the wide size of the bottom bracket and the spindle, the bike frame is stiffened. Also, you can use GXP and BB30 for bike models like S 500, 900, etc.

GXP and BB30 are two types of technology used in biking. They can similarly be treated as the design systems, which include the bike frame, crankset, and bottom bracket shell. Usually, the emphasis of attention is on the bottom bracket element. The crankset and bike structure are not mentioned as much. GXP stands for Giga X Pipe, and BB30 is short for the bottom bracket. The 30 designates the 30-millimeter diameter of the bottom bracket and spindle.

GX technology is suitable with a wide variety of bike parts like the S300, 500, and the 988 GXP crankset. BB30 is a free international standard. The BB30 bottom bracket is the industrial example for lower brackets. Bicycle models that are consistent with BB30 are the S 300, 500 and 900 cranksets and the SRAM force and the red crankset

GXP stands for Giga X Pie. This is liked by a lot of people who love riding bikes because they know that this is compatible with so many other bike parts. BB 30 is short for Bottom Bracket. The main purpose of using a BB30 is to allow the use of a bigger crankset.

This means that people will have bigger bearings and will also have some frame shells that are bigger. Take note that the GXP component cannot be used for a bike that makes use of a BB30 component as these two have differences that will make the sizing and mechanisms unique. You can check first which one you would need for your bike.
