Alkaline and Lithium Batteries are two types of batteries that you can easily get to different power devices you might be using. Alkaline and Lithium-ion batteries are not the same, although both are used to give power to different kinds of devices. Alkaline batteries are mostly non-rechargeable, though you will still find those ones that are rechargeable they are quite rare, and they are new in the market. Lithium-ion batteries, on the other hand, are rechargeable, and there are some that are non-rechargeable.
Alkaline batteries usually come with small cell voltage, the smallest you will get is 1.5V. However, the larger voltage can be gotten by connecting two or more 1.5V using series connections. Lithium-ion batteries, on the other hand, have higher cell voltage compared to alkaline batteries. Lithium-ion batteries are mostly used for devices that need high energy while alkaline batteries are used for devices with low or average energy requirements.
